This wedding was visually spectacular!  Krista has a real eye for detail, and if she can't find the exact thing she's after she makes it!  Her daughters beautiful flowers and bracelets were made by her and the girls shoes and dresses customised to fit her vision.  Krista found a creative way for her dearly departed father to be with her - instead of a standard bouquet she had a stunning photo of her father to walk with her down the aisle.

We had a "first look" so that their bridal party photos could be done before the wedding, meaning they could spend all their post-ceremony time celebrating with their guests.  Again this was beautifully thought through, and located at the place they very first met!

Both QT Hotel and Te Papa are stunning venues for weddings and wedding photos, although when Krista told me she wanted a dark and different, urban and glamorous style, I had a wee eeeek moment, as its not my usual signature of outdoors trees and beaches!  But wow Ioved what we managed to create together, with the help of my talented second shooter Rachel Stevens.
