A beautiful summer wedding at Silverstream Retreat. Silverstream has its own accommodation which can make for a lovely, relaxed wedding day, In this case both bride and groom got ready at Silverstream, with their close family and friends coming and going between the two.

No wedding is without its little hiccups, but these guys rose above the stress levels as they realised the wedding dress had been left in Porirua (a quick drive back for Mum!), Renee’s oldest boy was feverish with the flu (but he managed to be part of the ceremony, and made through a good part of reception – I think the Mr Whippy van helped!) And the girls realised the rings had been left back in the cottage just as they were about to walk down the aisle! (luckily the cottage was a 2 minute walk away).

A big portion of Luke’s whanau made the trip down from Northland and were a big component of the bridal party making for a really special day. In all a gorgeous wedding day for a gorgeous couple.
